Mystery hose - rear

I have a short hose under the rear body that is about 2 ft long but isn't connected to anything. Perhaps it is the original fuel line? I do have a fuel line and a vapor hose connection so I don't think it is either of these unless you think my fuel line hose was replaced at some point.

First pic with yellow is the hose I'm referring to. Second pic is my fuel line with yellow currently.

Hmmm, the yellow hose might be the rear axle vent tube. Here's a pic of what's on my car around that area.

That is the vent hose for the rear axle. You can see the nipple on top of the axle tube where it broke off. If you clean that up you'll see the remaining piece of hose and clamp. Remove those and replace with a new hose.
