1973 Original 6 cyl car, replaced with a 5.0L. 43,000 original miles.
Glad to find this site. Looks like there is some great information here. I have a '73 Mustang purchased in 1989. Original 6 cylinder car, now has a 302 (5.0L) from an '88 Mustang. Has a carburetor on it, still debating with myself on putting the fuel injection on it. The car has 46,000 original miles on it. All of the interior and the vinyl top are original. Myself and a friend painted it in '91. The only metal that has been replaced is the rear lighting panel. I'm in the process of replacing the front drum brakes with original discs and possibly rebuilding (upgrading) the suspension if the budget allows.

Sweet! Welcome from West Texas. ::thumb::

Welcome to the site from Virginia. I have a 73 Convertible with an original 6 cylinder. I've toyed with the idea of changing to a V8 over the years, but have kept it stock so far. Can you share any conversion tips on upgrading to a V8, I know some other members here are considering the change.

Welcome from coastal Alabama. Nice looking vert. Be sure to drop a pin on our member map under the fun stuff tab at the top of the page.
