Hello again,
Fixing one problem and found another. I lifted left side valve cover (so as to watch #1 cylinder valves to locate TDC) and I found #3 cylinder/intake valve 'oil deflector' laying in the bottom of the valley. I checked service manual and found 351 HO motors do not have this 'oil deflector.' My question is ... Is this 'oil deflector' really necessary? The motor that I have, just for clarification, is 351C/4 barrel heads. Any input would be much appreciated.
