on the down hill stretch. 1971 Grande

This car was a dark grey when I purchased this car from my best friend from high school in 2009. My friend bought it back in 1982. So I have known this car on a personal level since 1982. Having spent every single weekend cruising up and down the main drag in this car chasing girls. This pony is a 1971 Grande. Born on October 6, 1970 in Dearborn, MI., and currently residing in Harrison, Idaho. It is an original Grabber Lime car with white vinyl top. Dark green/metallic interior. 351c 4v with c6, and tracpac suspension. Considered an "early" 71', it came with several unique parts that other 71' cars didnt have. It is also chalked full of original Autolite parts throughout. With very few parts used that are not original to the car. I purchased this car with the intention of restoring it. This is a concours driven restoration. Being my first restoration.... I have missed a few details. Having done some things several times until it they were right. yes, I am "one of those guys". I am making good progress. With hopes of completing the restoration in time for my local small town car show next summer September 2024.
