Busy again on the weekend.

Fitted the chrome moldings to the wheel arches, installed the new spoiler and screwed the caps onto the wheels.

Console will follow as soon as possible, but the console watch is still in restoration at the master watchmaker.

The rims are original and came from @Doug's 73 Mach1 in the States.

I'm going to give them to be refurbished, but I'm very pleased with the result.

Finally, after 16 Months of restoration, pain, pleasure and many questions to you, yesterday i started the 351 V2 the first time.

I'm so thankful to all of you and your help, especially @Hemikiller , @Sheriff41 , @Steve McMahan , @JPWally and @Doug's 73 Mach1 !

Some new images from the weekend. The engine is almost finished. The door panels are in a good way too. The hood is back in shape.

ONE REQUEST: If you notice anything about the setup that is not correct for a 1973 H-code Mach 1, please let me know. The car should be entirely correct in factory condition.

PS: Sorry, the car is currently covered in a bit of dust. The barn is not the best place for an old car, but I don't have any other workspace. Later, of course, the car is parked sensibly and protected from dust.

The air cleaner snorkel is not correct.. It should be the one that connects to an accordion style cold air tube. The accordion connected to a 2-piece plastic cold air plenum that ran under the battery tray and connected to the radiator support.. All 73 cars had the cold air intake as part of the emissions requirements, which also included the EGR plate under the carburetor. I you would like I can get a picture of it on my 73 coupe and post it tomorrow.. In 1972 only the California cars and all of the 351 H.O. cars had the cold air tube..
