when the VP of operations returns........
I've been sitting in his office in his stead. He took a much needed vacation. Well most folks around never REALLY knew my position around the place.
One of the lead mechanics (a very good mechanic as far as knowledge and talent goes) has told me so many lies I cant count them. I am certain he has cost us 20000.00 in operations single handed. Well I lay low on 99% of the days.... but the dumbazz told me for the 5th occurrence... "oh the customer ran that one out of oil" NOW he's eff'n with my investments!!!! (he's NOT performing the service as directed and making excuses/blaming the customer to cover up)
The only thing I could think to say in response was..... "interesting!!! I've been in this business for 20 years and I have NEVER had 5 separate occurrences like that in 20 years much less 1 year! he IMMEDIATELY decided to do something .
Also noted he tried to play "hurt" on his arm (this is important as you read on). he told me he was bit by something, walked around the shop just fine but told me about it just the same. As soon as he had to come into our office....he was practically LIMPING
So NOW I will make customer visits and back track his communications with the customer. The President refuses to believe he may have cost us that much money.....this will be fun and it will be difficult to express to the President that he is allowing this to happen.
So.... all the other guys are stepping up because I've had to address many issues and dont put up with being told "I've got a denist appointment" at 10 am....then not showing up for the remainder of the day. I ask THAT one...do you have a copy of your office visit? "no".... did you have to take any medications that would impair your work or driving? "yes" What was it? "antibiotics"
Let me explain something to you.... antibiotics dont alter your mental state and if they did you should clock out right now. You personally cost this company efficiency and customer services. I suggest you consider this a polite suggestion.
