one thing we are wondering is if the intake and carborator would work with the ram air? I understand there is a maximum height above the block but I am sure what that is.

Current status of our project. Cleaning the block and heads to get ready for the machine shop. Once we know if we have to bore it (or I guess how much we have to bore it). we can start to order parts. We are going to meet with the machine shop this week to see what we need to do before we bring it all up there. This is all assuming there is not a hidden problem I haven't found yet with the block.

we are looking at going with a Northeastern rebuild kt . I also expect we will need to replace the cam and am wondering if we should upgrade that while we are at it. I just have no idea what changing the cam would do and what would be good for us.

We are planning on ordering a carb rebuild kit Carb Kit to work on before the weather gets good.

other than that it's cleaning and refinishing the small stuff we took off the engine.

If i have engine questions should I continue to post them here or start a new thread in the engine section? Thanks Dave
