Thanks. My shifter is about 1/2" taller and 1/2" back so you should have the shorter Hurst. Would you remember what part number was it?

I like the metal because the rubber always wears out and is a PITA to replace.

It does have a grommet where the shaft goes through which will wear out.

Wonder if they make a replacement, would be easier to replace that part rather

than the boot itself.
