Some time back I had created a "quick reference" index card to help identify boxes of Ford parts at swap meets.

It is pretty simple to use, the front is entitled, "Ford's Part Numbering System Decoder Card". It gives a break down of a Ford part number, by decade, year and model. It also shows the break down of the, "Numerical Group No" on the back side of the card so one can quickly determine which grouping the part is from, such as "Engine (6000-6999) or "Fuel System" (9000-9999).

I've laminated my card and keep it in my pocket when ever I go to swap meets. It has helped me on more than once.

Though it might help some of the 71-73 members.

Enjoy!

Mac

Eddy,

You are quite welcome :). I have a soft spot in my heart for Belgium. I've traveled there approx 8 times in 2 years for work. Used to stay at the Novtel in Brugge, but traveled on the weekends to various other places in Belgium. Our plant was in Menen, made some really good friends there. Needless to say I love your beer (Duval) and Flemish stew and I dare not for get to mention "Fritz" (as I was reminded you invented them not the "French")

Mac :)

Thanks for posting.

Greetings from Belgium,

Eddy

French Fries were definitely not invented by the French. Proof: They don´t run away from your plate when you eat them.

Yep, Belgium is the place to be for beer/chocolate and french fries(frieten).

We do our best for Americans in gratitude for the liberation in 1940-1945 (Flanders Fields/Menen/WW2).

Thank you Mac to deliver this message.
