IMG_1919.jpegIMG_1918.jpegIMG_1923.jpegIMG_1922.jpegIt’s been awhile since I posted anything other than asking for assistance so I thought that I would post this. I found the last bit of rust on my 73 Mach 1, the trunk lid. And since it had factory drilled holes for the rear spoiler, I took some pics and measurements. After I made the measurements, I put a piece of paper on each side of the trunk lid and taped it down and cut the holes as a template. I will place the paper on the new hood in the same position and then then center punch the holes and then drill it out. It seems that most hole locations on the trunk are different from the factory but mine lined up and looked good when the spoiler was mounted. BTW, the mark with 16 inches is from the rear edge to the front edge of the lid. I hope it helps someone.

Good luck
Tom

Here's the dimensions from the 429 mega site.
Factory holes it seems were all over the map. Close was close enough.
