- 1973 Ford Mustang Coupe. 351C 2V. Auto. All original, been in the family since new. Originally a California car, it's never seen snow.
Very nice wheels. I tried a variety of staggered tire sizes on my ‘71 and settled on 245’s all around. I went up to 275/60’s and IMHO the 275’s were just too big for my Shelby Cal 500 15x7 wheel setup. The 245’s however were perfect.
Here’s a shot of the 275’s.

Nice wheels.I was able to take some time to test fit the wheels. Looks pretty good. The front comes pretty close to the upper ball joint. Also, doe s anyone know what the diameter of the hub is?

I also have those wheels with 235 up front and 245 in rear. I wish I had put 245 all the way around. It would handle better. The 235 are a little too narrow for 8” wheels up front.Found a company called “Trans Am Race Engineering that reproduces the Minilite wheels. I bought 15x8 with 4.5BS and received them a few days ago. I’m planning on 245/60’s up front and maybe 255/60’s rear, but I am tempted to try 295/50’s. What do you guys/gals think?

That’s great to hear because I was actually starting to wonder if I should go with 235’s up front. Do you have any pictures of your car?I also have those wheels with 235 up front and 245 in rear. It’s not the appearance that I don’t like, it’s the handling. My car handles better with the same size tires all around. That’s great to hear because I was actually starting to wonder if I should go with 235’s up front. Do you have any pictures of your car?
