Removing Window cranks

How do I remove the window cranks from my 72? I have been looking for a small allen screw or something, but do't see anything. Does the center cap come off, if so, how?

The center cap comes off, I think it is glued on with trim/contact cement.

I'm not sure about yours but here's a tool I've used on other cars.

They usually have a screw that runs through the center of the handle into the stem.

Droptop is correct 1 screw in the center

71-2 will have a stick on alum cover - pretty much a 1 time use part.

I generally just stick the screw driver thru it.

Get a new one for 1.29

73's have a exposed center screw
