1973 Mustang Grande 351C 2V, built on the very last production day (July 6, 1973) for Grande's.
Hey folks,

Last weekend I replaced the fuel pump on my 351C and I wrote a small blog post about it to maybe help some others:

In the end it wasn't hard once I got the right tools.

I had to crank about 4-5 times to get fuel up to the carb again. But then it fired and ran OK. One thing I can't get used to though is the big air bubble inside the glass (plastic) fuel filter just before the carb. Is that normal?

Cheers,

Vincent.

Vincent,

nice write-up - makes the swap easy ::thumb::

I think the bubble is normal - the filter will be never fullfilled. But I have an old school direct-in-the-carb-filter though - there you don't see anything till it will begin to cough... ;)
