Purchased in 1997 or so
Who has installed them? I read one thread where they needed to be heated and new nuts used. Kind bummed me out a little any other experience

I also would like to know if they're any good.

For instance, NPD sells an "OE tool" dash pad (blue) that I need for $328 bucks, but they also sell a "repro" version for $95. That's a big difference in price.

Does anybody out there have any experience with these?

The repop units are just fine - I went with one from NPD... the cheaper of the two, and it's great. There are only 2 small 'blemish-like' areas on the pad, where it looks like they didn't do a perfect job of removing it from the mold (or something like that). I honestly don't care, though - it still looks great.

If you're looking for something that's perfect, or a more faithful restoration level piece, get the more expensive one.

Ohio Mustang has them as well - much cheaper from Dashes Direct.

Also have blue and ginger as well. Don doesn't sell junk, either. ;)

Buying repop is fine as long as you don't want a green one

Now i know the availability or unavailability of certain items/colors for the 71-73 cars i will be more careful when i buy the Mach1 and vert
