Rubber window seals, anyone?

Hey folks,

Has anybody ever tried putting a rubber seal around the front and/or rear window instead of the standard trim?

I'd like to get rid of the shiny trim and clips and use something more modern. Does anything like this exist at all?

Nope, but the previous owner buffed all my trim with 80 grit so this is what I did. The window trim is not on but it will be the same SEM trim color.

Thanks, it was no easy task as I am old school, meaning paint won't stick to shiny. You have a nice looking ride there.

Hmmm, I’d like to get rid of the clips etc. Modern cars don’t have clips either right? What dothey put around the windows?

Nothing that I know of.

They have moldings encapsulated in the glass. So it’s like a rubber frame on some glass . Windshields have nothing but the glass has benn painted inside to help hide gas or adhesion points

There are a wide variety of rubber moldings for windshields. Do an internet search for 'windshield reveal moldings' and you'll come up with a lot. Here's what comes up on Amazon:
