Salute to my Partner

This was the last drag car I was associated with and belonged to

my best friend Ivan's brother Doug.

The car was finished after Ivan's passing and never made a pass. Doug failed

a physical to be licensed.

Sad deal all around but he lives on with memories and video. Ivan's ashes

were scattered at the 2014 Winter Nationals via parachutes from several

cars.

Car guys love a drag car hope you don't mind me sharing.

Paul,

I was at the 2011 Hot Rod Reunion and saw this car and met Doug Rose. Great guy. I think this car was sold and is now in Australia and being match raced down under.

He was there with a group of several family members. I may have met you and Ivan. So if you remember a little old man a little bit older than Doug talking about being old and still trying to race that was me.

Sorry for your loss - they say time helps but it doesn't
