Is here a member making this also for himself, what are the measurements in mm (metric... drawing)?

The only advantage to the original Ford tool is that the angled slot allows it to be placed over the pinch weld and self supporting while raising the car. The $75 tool still requires it to be held in place while lifting the car. If it were self supporting $75 wouldn't seem so high.

A rare earth magnet would take care of that problem.
