Shelby Europa Tribute?

So if I had an extra 71 convertible lying around with an unlimited budget I would love to try to re create one of these rare Mustangs. Purist will complain that they are not true Shelbys, but that aside what would it take? My guess is the graphics are easy enough to reproduce and maybe some are even available, but what about the Shelby gas cap, would one from another year work?

I say go for it, but I myself would keep the faux badging to a minimum if any at all.

You basically only need the side stripes, the snake badges and the special headlights to replace the sport lamps in the grille.

They were Marshal if I remember correctly.

Then you'd need a set of Wolfrace style mags.

The good thing is there's no need for different tail lights or all the other Shelby details.

If you are lucky, our member Rauno from Finland who owns both Shelby Europa will chime in.

Btw, there is a blue sportsroof in the US that was once posted on the forum which claims to be an original but it is a fake, duck tail spoiler, Shelby tail lights a all.
