I'm so glad that the bad experiences have not ruined your spirit to continue your obsession.

After my bad experiences during my restoration, I do have 2nd thoughts of jumping into another project. I hope the bad experiences of being taken advantage of fades away in time but, if I do start another one, I certainly will do my homework in getting every single thing in writing, and manifesting every single new part for the car, making the person doing the work sign off on the work order, and more pictures before, during, and after I have anything done outside of my garage.

Boy, that is a good idea. It's really hard to find reputable people to work on these cars. One thing is for sure, never give them money up front if you can avoid it.

Congrats on the sale and your next project looks great already. Can't wait to see the results. My step-daughter moved to Birmingham from Virginia last summer so my next trip down I'll have to look you up!
