Hey gents, is there any reason to change spark plug gap if I have the 0.6 ohm flame thrower coil. My plugs are set at .035 now, but someone recommended going to .040 for the hotter coil. I,m about to change my plugs for the first time after engine break in and would like to get optimal igniton. Thanks! I'm using the Autolite AP25 plugs.

Yeah, need more info but .035" to .038" is fine . If you have a sizeable cam, the best thing yuu can do is buy a multi spark ignition box like an MSD.

Been hanging around racing for years and wider gap makes no different, but hotter spark will.
