I have some trim from my Ranchero project that needs to be straigtned...I've watched vids and seems straightforward enough to give it a try on the simple pieces, but I have one that has an overlapping section that will cover some areas that will need to be tapped out.

Is this something that can be repaired and if so, is it best left to the professionals?

Thanks,

BT

There is an article on Youtube about repairing SST moldings.. Very informative.. Try "automotive stainless steel molding repair"..

Piper62j, I've watched a number of videos on youtube....there's one titled Stainless Steel for Dummies that was informative. I didn't see any showing how to deal with a section like I'm showing in the 2nd picture.

Dave, I have a 71. 70 & 71 are the same. There may be other years that will work, but I don't know what they might be.
