Strut rod crossmember

and that also seems to be the same thing you are talking about. well... i think im going to take a few pictures and post them and see if anyone has any ideas.

That's the front radiator/core support, same that Don from OMS quoted above as 3640J. It's the very front support, not the strut rod support.

You do need this part, but it's not the only piece needed.

Hey everybody. I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 73 Mach One that was wrecked and the strut rod crossmember was bent and will require replacing. Anybody have any suggestions on where I could find one of these? I've tried most of the local Mustang places here in Alabama with no luck so I'm pretty sure it will have to be shipped in. Thanks for any advice.

I would contact a frame shop and just have it pulled. I bet you would be in good shape without a lot of cost.
