I can see how it could have hit over a quarter million. Our 73 deep restoration took over 6 figures to bring back from Rust Hell. We did it right, resectioning new metal while keeping as much of the original metal as possible. Amazingly, the underside and floor pans were in near perfect condition. The car used to sit undriven for months at a time (sailor owned it, and he spent a lot of time on the high seas) atVirginia Beach. Apparently the salty air and moisture wound up in the deep crevices, hidden by trim pieces. This video is made from a collection of videos taken during the restoration progress. in the earlier photos you will seed how deep the rust went. But, we did not give up on the car. No expense was spared, as we did not care how much was going into it vs what its market value is. We wanted to do right by the car, for love of the breed.$225K+...I appreciate the technical aspects of the car. The appearance is another thing. Chuck
