My Car
1972 Convertible Mustang 351C 4bbl
Hey everyone,
My name is Vincent and I am currently restoring a 72 convertible 351C4V with a 4 speed top loader.

This was my father’s first car that he kept his whole life. He began disassembling it the year I was born (~30 years ago). Due to work and raising 5 kids he just couldn’t seem to find the time to restore it. He finally gave me the car after years of me asking for it since it had just been rotting in his warehouse.

My dad turns 65 this year. What he doesn’t know is that I’m restoring it and gifting it to his as a retirement present for just being an awesome father to me and my 4 siblings. From countless sporting events to major life events he’s always been there and I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he gets back behind the wheel of this beast of a car.

Thanks for reading and I’m glad to be part of this forum with you big nose experts!

That is so awesome and what a great son you are being. The car is awesome too so is your name 😂 that’s mine and my son’s name.
Great color and do you know the paint code?
And that’s one heck of a great optioned convertible. I’m not huge on convertibles but I have always thought that the 71-73 Mustang makes one of the best looking convertibles.
Also those rims and tires are the bomb.
Wish they would reproduce more old school tires like those.

Great name! Paint code is 4Q dark metallic green. I plan on going back with original colors and definitely wide oval tires like he had.
