72 Mach 1 351cj, toploader, 3.5 gears, all factory options.
Hi everyone,

My name is Abdul, born and raised in beautiful Melbourne, Australia.

Very happy to see there is a forum dedicated to this awesome car. I have owned my 1972 Mach 1 since Jan 2010. It is in need of a full restoration which is hopefully (and finally) happening soon.

It is Gold Glow, 351cj, toploader, 3.5 gears all factory options. This car is my dream car and I believe that the rest of the muscle car enthusiasts are really starting to notice these cars after years of neglect.

Expect me to be asking a ton of questions during the restoration :p

These cars just look so good in Mach 1 form!!

Anyway hello everyone!

Pics are here now.

Flatback72, do I recognise you from mustang Australia forum??

I advertised my car for sale there but I have since changed my mind thankfully.

I cant wait for this to car to be finished.

Welcome to the forums! Lovin' the gold glow! Keep us posted!

::welcome::

WELCOME aboard, Abdul!

I guess that "Rocketfoot" and I both have a "soft spot" for the Gold Glow thing since we both have Mustangs in that color. I was doing fine in my plans to paint my '73 Grande Medium Bright Yellow until he started "flashing" (LOL) pictures!

That having been said, I am glad you apparently made the decision not to sell your "dream" car. You would be surprised as to how many people do that and regret it later.

I think you will enjoy this Site and I look forward to interacting with you on the Forums.

BT
