One would think you'd find this fine example of redneck engineering on some farm down here in the south. Low and behold this car hails from the great state of Michigan ! Go figure :)

And current bidding has it at ... $2950.

Really?

To make matters worse, boys and girls, there's a '67 coupe local here just like it :(

My top fuel funny car friend used to chop up 1930's cars to drag race in the 60's.

What names do you want to call him? I'll let him know.

Were they 50,000 dollar cars too? Racers have destroyed a lot of rare cars...that's why they are rare.

when I was in high school, me and a few fiends, did this to a 1977 Mustang II, we used a Bronco II chassis and drive train, but it looked great when it was done.

(the car had a rotted under carriage, and the bronco was rolled over, so they made a good pair)

his father still has the car in their garage, it still runs and drives, but its needs a lot of mechanical work to be safe again.

if I find the pictures I had I will post them.

but as 73MustangCoupe said "4WD Mustang, it could be cool if done right" key word if "done right."

Is it me, or does it actually look better than the '71-'73 4x4s that have been posted up recently? rofl

Throw some paint on it, some 35" TSL Swampers on 15x10 chrome modular wheels, tighten everything up, make it nice, and have some fun crushing Corollas at local monster truck racing events or cruising in parades. That would be a blast! :p
