down to the cruisn in last night. I pulled in and I think it took more than 30 minutes to get away from my car. Five or six folks were just in awe of this RARE car.... they never have seen before or YEARS since they have seen one  :D:D

I should have taken a picture because I parked behind 3 late model Mustangs and NOBODY was drooling over their cars. But funny like the other thread ...these three guys NEVER looked my direction as IF I WASN'T back there. Now I'm not bragging  (YES I AM)....but YOU CANT ignore my car when she rolls up. Heck there were people over a 100 feet away turn to listen to my car when she rolled in. What is it with these "new" Mustang owners??? JEALOUS???? :D

No, admiration of a job well done! :salute:

Well..Im sounds like you ran into them bias kinda people... i like every car and truck "almost"..From pinto's up too kennworths!! I can find good and bad in all of them....I can go look at a sweet camaro with out any bias...I dont sit back with a chip on my shoulder cause its not MY car that is getting the attention....but funny things with these years of cars...they got a bad rap..But they get soooo much attention...Everyone notices them...And when parked at a car show...Mine gets way more attention than it should..Not being restored or perfict...lol

one thing I noticed at shows is people always ask me "what's in there a 302." And when I reply "no a 351 Cleveland" you always see the eyebrows pop up hahaha.Considering it was only made for 4 years {in America}I guess they are rare. but I never expect the faces haha

Whenever someone asks me what year my car is, I ask them what year do they think it is.

9 out of 10 times the response is a 65 or 66.

In any event, everyone knows it is Mustang. They just can't figure out why it looks so much better than they remembered(it is a 73, stupid).

Maybe being 53 years old and from Detroit, I used to know the make, model and year of every car I saw. (Okay, the 64 1/2 and 65 Mustang are hard to differentiate, and who cares what year that Chevy is anyway). But today, forget about it.

Doug Thorley headers into flowmasters. 2.5" pipes with ole Thumper and his band of merrimen. I can crank it up and you can hear it 4 houses away:D That's what was SO funny the "new" Mustang guys never looked my direction and I was 10 feet from them.
