Sadly I have well know family fact that's wrong.

If you ask him, my brother will tell you that his wife respects him and appreciates all his hard work. Even worse is, "She has our finances under control, there's nothing to worry about."

'Oh, you've bought an American car, but all American cars are automatic. Why is yours manual? Has it been converted?'

Or another 'fact' that's wrong...

'Your Mustang is left hand drive. That must be really dangerous / difficult to drive in the UK.'
