Sic ... I see how you got your name. You went to see Alice Cooper and Andy Williams....that is like throwing a choclate bar into a bowl of chili.:D
You are correct. The name is from liking things that usually don't go together.

Seeing Andy Williams was driven by a request to take my Mother-In -Law. BUT, Andy (RIP) could really sing. In his later years he looked like a strong wing could throw him off the stage but then he would belt out a song like he was in his twenties.

ha well those two could have done a duet with Willie Nelson and BAM a new hit.

Wow...no way I can list them all. I saw all the great bands from the '70 and 80's. Went to every concert to hit SA and surrounding area. But here's a few that stick out...

Led Zeppelin

Pink Floyd

Blue Oyster Cult (before they outlawed their laser light show)

Triumph

Rolling Stones

Queen

U2

Bruce Springsteen

Metallica

Neil Young

Prince

oh...and Michael Jackson (never been a huge fan, but he can put on a concert)

And for those of you who remember the Texas Jams...the first one was probably the best. One vivid memory was Ted Nugent on Stage with Aerosmith doing the "Milk Cow Blues"

The Doobie Brothers

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils

Little River Band

Poco

Pure Prairie League

Loggins and Mesina

Olivia Newton John (Physical Tour. Yes, it was great!)

Barry Manilow (In the round)

Charlie Daniels Band

Hoyt Axton

Bob Seger and The Siver Bullet Band

Van Halen (Sammy Hagar)

George Straight

Garth Brooks

John Michael Montgomery

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Bachman Turner Overdrive

Kenny Chesney

Steve Miller Band

Heart

Joe Walsh

Neil Young

38 Special

Iron Butterfly (when I was 15)

Tina Turner

Joe Cocker

Elton John

Sting

I know there's more, but my memory is ..... Oh Look!!! A Squirrel!

Outlaws

Molly Hatchet/Allman Bros.

Rush, several times

Triumph/Saga

.38 Special

Aerosmith (worst ever)

ZZ Top (second worst ever)

Maynard Ferguson (twice)

The Clarks (local Pittsburgh band, been on Letterman!)

...and, like the others, several others that I can't recall...

What a cool thread!

Like others, I can't remember them all, but I saw as many as I could in the 80s and 90s.

The US festival outside of Los Angeles in 1983 was awesome:

Divinyls

INXS

Wall of Voodoo

Oingo Boingo

The English Beat

A Flock of Seagulls

Stray Cats

Men at Work

The Clash

In the Rose Bowl in 1982 or so I saw Journey with Aldo Nova, Triumph and somebody else

Duran Duran x 2

The Fixx

Finally saw The Police a couple years ago in Las Vegas

U2

REM

Offspring with about 12 other people in a small club in Missoula, Montana.

A bunch of others I can't think of right now.

Bob Seger Nice

Been to several of them over the years, the last one was Crosby, Stills & Nash at an out door concert at a winery here in Washington a few months ago. It was a great concert but there was friction with the crowd when one of them went on a political rant and tried getting everyone in the crowd to stand up and chant against what our military was doing and war. I don't think they realize probably 30% of the crowd were Vets or active duty military families. They got frustrate when only a few joined them and some in the crowd actually yelled for them to just sing. One of the band members said he thought people in Seattle were more with it, or something to that effect. Had they left out the political rants it would have been more enjoyable.
