So, net tally for today:
One left hand fastback A pillar trim, no cracks.
Two right hand fastback A pillar trim, one with a fixable crack, one no cracks.
Two pair of C pillar fastback trim pieces (by the quarter window)
One pair of rear quarter fastback interior panels (fair to good, no cracks)
One pair of the plastic panels that go between the interior quarter panel and the rear window along the package shelf.
One pair of 71 hood latch support brackets (not the grille brackets)
One pair standard door armrest bases in white (no cracks)
Two steering column trim panels in black (under the column)
One 73 grille light (grille was gone, not sure if standard or Mach1...or are they the same that year?)
One inner fender liner, tall one, not sure which side.

And two ticks in my shirt. But I found them while still at the yard, so I put them back so I don't get accused of stealing.

There is a 72/73 Torino fastback and there may still be a 72/73 Torino fastback Q-code.
Sooo much stuff. And there's almost no getting thru it in the summer, but I couldn't get up there this winter.
Lost track of the number of 70s Ford trucks. Dozens? More 70s Camaros/Firebirds than you can shake a stick at, because, quite frankly, why would you do anything else but just shake sticks at them? Although, someday that sticks will be a cane!
That is a Javelin in that second to last pic. Found the rust free hood and fenders on the main road.

It's pretty much the same here. A couple of my go to yards had cars back to the 40s, but when steel shot up 20 years ago, it all got scrapped.

The owner has been in business since 89. He moved in the early 90s to the present location. Think about that....he moved 500 cars...
Anyway, he likes to pick up older stuff and doesn't scrap until it's just scrap.
He also can sell a car if he has the title for it, although I think some of the really old stuff he might not have titles.....
Unfortunately, he's about an hour and a half away.
But, I was the only one in the yard all day. He even went running errands while I pulled parts and walked around.

I do miss spending hours in a yard finding dozens of small treasures. And I do hate ticks! The only thing worse are leeches. Happy hunting. Chuck

Fortunately, no leeches! But apparently, we have had sightings of 7 mountain lions so far this year in MO.

So, right now it's the middle of April, by late July the foliage will be nearly impenetrable. And you won't be able to see more than 20 feet. Very easy to get lost or loose your tools.

2nd trip!
Picked up more stuff....two more A pillar trims )cracked, but repairable. And some other stuff. I'll figure out what I will keep and offer the rest up. For the right price, I might let go of the ticks. Don't know about the poison ivy yet, might take a day...
