What is this plug

Can someone identify this plug over the glove box on top of the heater box. 2 red and looks to be a brown wire, on the other side of that connector it looks like maybe some speaker wires but, can not really see that side very good because of harness connector.

I believe it is part of emissions control.

Maybe but, it’s not going to the red box mounted on the heater box and the speaker looking wires are going through the a pillar on the passenger side towards the engine bay, and I can not see where they come out .

Can you post a pic of the “speaker wires” going to the engine compartment? That might help identifying them.

Here is the speaker looking wires that this is the other side of that plug.maybe it is the ambient temperature sensor switch wires and it goes into the heater box somewhere.
