What retains the speedometer cable on an FMX

Putting together the mustang puzzle and come up with a question.

What retains the speedometer cable?  I know there is supposed to be a bolt involved and that is about it.

The parts car I have access to has been sitting in the same place so long that it is actually sunk to the floorboards, so I can't get under it easily.

I just ordered one along with some other random stuff.  This will probably result in me finding one I pulled off the car 12 years ago within 5 minutes of walking into the garage tomorrow.
