OK guys, I need you to dig deep on this one.My car had a heart transplant from an RV with low mileage(460&C6).The problem is a u-joint failure brought me to search the auto parts leaving them scratching their heads. The PO used the driveshaft from the RV .It has the big 3 5/8 X 1"3/16 u-joints, but somehow cannibalized some cups to fit the rear end chuck.Problem is can't match up a replacement u-joint.I think the biggger ones would be better for my power application.I don't want to make a new driveshaft if Ford made the big u-joint chuck for the 9" rear.Does anyone know if a chuck with the 3 5/8" X 1" 3/16 u-joint exsists for the 9" rear?

Thanks guys,

Yeah, I brought both u-joint's to napa, had the whole crew tearing boxes apart trying to build a useable piece ,but the small end on my rear ,made this a hard combo. The big 1" 3/16 cups seem to be bigger truck gearing.I put new caps on the rearend half of the joint last summer to buy time but I guess the 460 found the weak link!:s

You need a conversion U joint. Any driveshaft shop should have it. I think this is what you need.
