Window felt

Hello,

I could use some help please.  I removed the interior of my 71 mach 1. I reconditioned the interior rear qrt trim panel but I can find new qrt window felt. It is attached to the panel on a steel chrome strip then stapled to the plastic panel. The felt rests on the inside of the qrt window.

Can someone tell me where to get?

The description from NPD is pretty vague, it doesn't say its for the 1/4 windows. It says door window felts. However I do see 4 shorter pieces in the picture.

Unfortunately, I believe you have to buy the full set of door windows, inner and outer to get the quarter windows felt. But, the door windows most likely need changing also.

I did buy this set. The outer upper belt line felts are there in the kit but I didnt get a supplemental lower belt line window felt. I saw these on c.j.p.p but they want 50.00 for 2 piece set. Do you know of anyone selling it cheaper?

My car is a 71 mach 1.

Im not sure thats it? it takes 2 outer belt line felts per door. In 1971 they are both skinny and long. I believe in 72-73 they were wide and only 1 was used per side not 2?  Both are close to equal in length.   Ohio Mustang says they are out of stock.

Ok - I was a little confused.  Easily done these days.  I don't know of anyone selling just the felt.  You will more than likely need to by a complete kit to get the inner strips that attach to the panels.
