Clunk on front end

Not a lot of time tonight but I was able to drive it in a few circles in my court and around the block and after torquing the pitman and inner tierods down a couple days ago, I heard no knocks on the steering. Now to hopefully get a wheel alignment soon. Pretty happy right now with not having the clunk.

Look carefully. Mine used to clunk. I thought it was the lower ball joints. So I ordered new lower control arms and recruited my teenage son to help me. As we jacked the car up to install the new LCA’s I saw something move, then I told my son to grab the wheel top and bottom and shake it. The castle nut on both ball joints was loose. 5 minutes later they were tight and re-cotter pinned. I drove the car around a while and checked again, still tight, no clunk. The car is gone but I have 2 new LCAs…. A helper is a good idea I decided.
