Over the Hood (Bonnet) Pictures

I was cruising down the I66 headed to a car show and took a couple of pictures over the hood. Now you guys with a NASA hood can see what it is like behind the wheel with a "flat" hood! :)

Plus a couple of pictures with the speedo at 60 and 70 MPH.

Anyone else have any "Over the Hood" pictures?

a full tank of gas, I don't think I have ever seen that in my car :) and the few times I did, it didn't last long like that :D

seeing the 70 MPH reminds me that I need to change the Speedometer cable!! (I broke it at the transmission last month)

Is it just me or did the fuel gauge drop when you went from 60 to 70?LOL

Great ideal of posting over the hood pics from our members.

Here are some from a few years ago. Some are from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and others are from a Pony Trails ride in southern Indiana.

So that's what a NASA hood looks like from behind the wheel!

sorry for the regular ho hum street...

Good to see your not turning into advance auto parts.:D

Me too! I'm there enough already.

72 R Code and Totalled's hoods shots are more accurate than the one I posted. Shinny argent should be satin argent.

If it OK for any year mustang I will follow 72 R Code and post from inside the 67 going into the front stretch at Indy.

Here you go, on the way home from the airport. My son picked me up with the Mustang! What a great kid!

I sure your son had the most pleasure by picking you up in the Mustang!

Ok Mike - here is my overhood shot. This was taken on my drive home from the body shop after the car had been there for over 2 years.

Went for a ride today with the missus, complete with lunch at a nice restaurant for our 12th anniversary. We drove through the hilly countryside in the north of Luxembourg and drove through the beautiful town of Clervaux.

Some pics are little crooked but, you know, driving and taking pics at the same time is not that easy. :-)

Enjoy.

I'll throw one in too from my 2004 Mach 1 as an "Over the Shaker" picture!
