Exhaust Fix

Car previous had headers which the PO removed and welded flange pipes. Who ever did it, angled the front pipes too close to the body and most of the exhaust hits the undercarriage. I figure its going to cost about the same to custom bent new front flange pipes as it would for me to just buy headers and install them myself. Plus the extra boost from better exhaust flow. Saw a set in Summit Racing, any suggestions

We got a set of Hooker stainless long tube headers from Summit for the 72 Coupe...they look great so far, but we haven't gotten them installed or anything. They cost a little over $400 if I remember correctly.
