Sure hate to see one go the salvage yard. Call Don and get a few pieces of sheet metal, a little "TLC" (Just like in the Playboy pink Mustang), and the rest of it looks like it would buff right out! How 'bout it Ray?! :whistling:

Sure does, I know of heaps of cars like that, the "I'm going to do it up again one day" and it shits me that the owners would rather see the cars rust away like that instead of somebody doing something with it.

Guaranteed if that was a XA/B/C hardtop here in Australia, someone would've bought it and restore it. Last year I saw something as bad if not worse than that purchased and the restoration has been started. Then again that's how rare those Falcon hardtops are now and people are basically restoring rust, hence why the crazy prices for them now.

I live about 45 miles from Naples. I may try to buy the rear valance.
