- 1972 Mustang Mach1 351C Ram Air, AC, Red w/black striping, black matt hood, spoiler, automatic and factory original in every detail.
Fellow Mustangers,
I just ordered the Ram Air plenum kit from CJ Mustang and wanted to know if anyone else has done this upgrade and is there any "Don't let this happen to you" advice?
I already know and have received the wrong snorkel to air cleaner bolts (seems this has been going on for many years with CJ...) and no vacume line splitters.
The vacume routing diagram they include is a joke. It's a print of one I see when I google this diagram and is barely legible. Then I found one on this forum and it's exactly what I needed!
I noticed there are no hold down clips for the vacume line on the hood so probably have to go buy those as well.
Any notable advice from past installs?
