Door Removal/Install Hack

How any times have we found ourselves struggling to get our doors on and off the car with out yelling to the wife to come give you a hand, or calling up a friend to come by and hold the door while you get it removed or installed. Well no more guys. Here is a door removal/install hack that I've used a few times over the years and it works great. Feel good telling your friends you didnt need any help. Below are the pictures of how to do it but simply cut a Milk Crate on two side to accept the door, put some type of blanket or towel in the cut mark and use your jack to raise it and move it around. The tie downs are good but I still suggest you always hold the door, no "Look Mom no hands" moment. Good luck guys I'm doing a complete restore on a 72 Fastback but when done it won't be OEM. I may start posting progress pics and give you my opinion on the replacement sheet metal replaced from CJ Pony and the fitment issues.
