As to the part number, I was under the impression that its different for each motor and transmission combination. 71-73 mustangs didn't really come with a 351W motor. So IDK if there's a valid part number. In my 73 with a 351W, I used an aftermarket lokar kickdown cable.

NPD carries the 69 style C6 shifter shaft which *should* work.

You can get the kickdown rod and lever from the link below. The 351W has a .3" taller deck than the 351C, but the 71-73 351-4V C6 kickdown should work for you.

Thank you Hemikiller. I really appreciate the help. In the link you sent for the lever shift shaft, there is only one connecting point(I'm thinking the shifter rod connects to that). But then how do I go about connecting the steering column lock rod and kick down rod to the lever shift shaft? Ive attached a photo for reference of what is still missing.

The '69 style doesn't have the lower lever for the column lock rod, which was introduced in 1970. You'd have to go without it, or fabricate the lever. The 70-73 setups are difficult to find, as you essentially need to buy a complete transmission to get one, few would sell just the shift mechanism.

I was able to locate the correct shift shaft lever but found a new problem. Are all C6 transmissions the same size? I am currently only able to keep the car in park and shift into reverse before the lever hits the side of the transmission. Using a spacer/washer is out of the question I believe as it would a shift the inner levers that connect to the valve body.
