Jack has authorized me to lower his asking price for this exceptional 1 owner 1971 Mach 1 to $38,000.00 US. Personally I think this is a more realistic price and well worth viewing in person.
Please contact me via Conversations, or messenger through FaceBook and I will forward enquiries to Jack, OR you can call Jack directly at 519-354-7321. This area is EST.
Thanks to all for the very positive feedback so far.

I'm very interested in this car. Would it be possible to see more pictures?
Regards
Don

As many of the under carriage and in the trunk as possible.
I'll see what I can get. I have personally looked underneath and in the trunk and it all looks very good. Jack always had the under side oil guarded, it looks a bit messy, but solid. There is no rust anywhere that I'm aware of.
I'd like to continue this discussion in a PM if that's ok.

BUMP #3
Some underside pictures.

What may appear to be a rust color is actually the oil guard stuff. Any light rust that may be present is just on the surface.

So far, Jack has had a few tire kickers and no shows. The car is away in his garage for winter, but is still available for serious enquiries. One owner cars that are as close to original as it gets, don't often come up for sale.
Enquires can be made through myself and I'll forward them, or contact Jack personally at 519-354-7321.
Geoff.

Since car is in Canada, we hope the dollars you are asking for are CAD, $38,000 Canadian equals about $27,700 US…a better deal…$38000 US is $52000 Canadian…that’s probably why you are only getting tire kickers…

It is US dollars. I'm just trying to help out a friend by advertising it here. I believe the car is appraised for more than what he's asking.

Or Mecum with a reserve
Actually we have RM Sotherbys / RM Restoration here in town. We know a lot of the staff there and Jack would go through them IF that's what he decides. There is also an online auction house locally as well, but mostly tire kickers on that site.

I think this is a great car. One owner, low mileage, no rust, mostly original, and in very nice condition, even exceptional for its age.

When you look at the cars available for sale, a lot of them are junk. Some people go to great lengths to cover up shotty work. Remember the green Mach 1 that was advertised as an original 429 SCJ, and was actually a 72 small block car, everyone on this site could easily pick it apart just from the pictures, imagine how bad it was in person. My point is there are a lot of misrepresented cars, rusted cars, and much worse, so finding a car like the one in question is truly a great find. It may not be the most optioned car, but being an M-code, C-6 with a 9” traction lock is a desirable running gear.
I would love to have this car but I have 5 cars and only 3 garage spaces. I’m trying to build a 1600 sq ft garage but I am having a hard time trying to find someone to build it at a reasonable price. It seems like contractors around here either aren’t interested or they want to charge an arm and a leg for it. One quote was 200,000 and that didn’t include site prep, hvac, or electric. It’s crazy.

Thanks for your comments,
A 40 x 40 (or whatever) should cost nowhere near that I would think. Price the materials at your local lumber store and I'm sure you'll find it less than half that estimate. Then go form there.

I put aside $125000 for the garage. The problem is labor. Or the profit margin they want.

Thats Crazy. I built a 40x40 shop with 14' sidewalls a few years back. I paid a contractor to do the site prep and concrete work. Then me and 4 of my friends built it. Started on a Thursday morning and were finished by noon on Sunday. I had about $18k in materials and $14k in the site prep and concrete work.
