Im not yet but, I am considering a similar wheel. I'm looking at a more traditional Torque Thrust wheel. 17x8 with a 4.5" BS seems to be a typical size for the front and 17x9 or 9.5" with a 5 or 5.5" BS seems popular. I'm going to use a 17x9.5 with 5.5" BS so I can fit a 275/40-17 in the rear.

I'm planning on running 15" TT2s on mine - which will pretty much look like this (but with actual Ford Light Pewter paint, not the Photoshopped color I did):

The 17"s should look something like this:

Hope this helps.

I'm diggin' the 17" TT2 look. I just put Firestone Indy 500 235/60R15s on the 71 4-speed car with the dog dishes. Those tires were just discontinued in that size. It looks like for the 15" tires BFG is the only manufacturer left in the game. If I gave a hard time finding the 15" in the future then 17x8 are what I'm going with.

mine are similar but with about 1-3/4 inch of positive offset (needs spacers in the front)
I think yours are either Torque Thrust Ms, or maybe even stock Ford Mustang Bullitt rims. Definitely made for late-models with all that offset, though. ;)

Cool, I have been considering the Torque thrust wheels as well. I like my wheels, but was concerned that because they were 15's I would have a hard time finding a 'big' enough tire for them. The ones on it are too small for my taste. 215/50/15 on the front and 225/50/15 on the rear. i think if I step up to like a 245/50(or 60?)/15 on the rear and maybe move the 225/50/15's to the front. What do you guys think?

I think Cooper Cobras are still available. My brother just bought 4 for his Ranchero. He didn't want to pay BFG price.

Another vote for 18's I have 18x8 on the front and 18x9.5's on the rear...
What are the specs on those wheels? Backspacing, offset, etc.

Thanks!
They are American Racing Torq Thrust II.

The fronts are 18x8 with a back spacing of 4.5' and have 0 offset.

The rears are 18x9.5 with a back spacing of 5.75' and have +12mm of offset.

The fronts are a off the shelf/in stock rim but I had to special order the rears, but they only took 3-4 weeks to arrive. I got them from Summit Racing, I think from memory the rears where about $370 a rim and the fronts where around $350.
