1971-1973 Convertible Manual Trans

I am looking for a nice 1969-1973 Mustang convertible. It has to be an original V8 car and has to have a manual transmission. Any color considered but I want a nice running and driving car. Not a project.

I have a 1973 Blue/ Blue interior and a white top. I bought it in 1994 with 86,000 miles it from the original owner. Today it has 109.000 miles and I now drive it everyday to work. In the past year I've replaced the brakes, calipers, wheel cylinders, hoses, axle bearings, control arms, shocks springs, tires and a/c compressor. It is mechanically sound but needs some cosmetic work. It still matches the window sticker which I have along with the original keys, warranty card, build sheet and owners manual. It has the original 302 and 3 speed stick. Let me know if your interested.

So your quest to find one is sort of more rare than a 4 speed is.

I seems like everyone started getting lazy on changing the gears. If you have traveled much you know the U.S. by far has more automatics. In Africa and China where I spent lots of time straight drive is still the biggest seller.

You could not get a 4 speed in an F or H code in any body style 71 - 73

There was one 71 F code 4 speed coupe and one 71 H code 4 speed FB

There were Zero convertibles H & F code with 4 Speed. In 1971 there was one Hard top 4 speed 302-2V, one HT 302 with an FMX, one Fastback H code 4 Speed. Of you find one of those they are one of one.

Even though the 3 speed was standard not many came that way. The odd 4 speed cars were probably Ford Corporate cars he doesn't say.
