I have had enough of this one, and it's time to find a new home. Car is in Nampa, Id. Not mentioned in the ad is the 'NASA' hood to go with.

Email for more pictures if you have something in particular you want to see.

Hmm, what engine came with it? do you have any more pics of the car? Body condition and interior condition. To many of us the motor does not matter, thats easy. The body and interior can be a PITA though. Thanks

Add some pics to this thread. Everyone likes pics and they may help to stir some interest. Also add a description of what the body condition is. Good luck with the sale.

What happened to the original motor for the car? Still available? Thanks

Bump...

ponypastor, I didn't see that you had posted about the car. I bought it with out the engine or trans, I have no idea what happened to the drive line. The car is still available, and much closer to being a 'yard driving' car. I took the car to the Firebird swap meet this summer, and got the engine to make a noise. I still need to connect the shifter linkage, and the fuel line, before I would say it "runs".

PM me, if this link doesn't work...There are some updated pictures here from when I posted it originally. Also, as I have now been retired from the Idaho air guard, I moved to Colorado. Since my girlfriend lives in NY, on Long Island, that is where I am now. My tower, that has ALL my other pictures of the car, is in Co. So the pictures in this CL ad are all I have. I didn't realize that when I packed up.

If anybody has questions, please PM me, as I am now all over the place, and don't check in as often as I used to.

I finished up in Kuwait ~15 July....Was on leave thru 20 August. "Retired" 15 Oct-ish, and was almost finished moving out of Idaho by the first of November..The mustang, a few cougar parts and my engine hoist are all that I have left in Idaho.

BTW, the car is not a factory sunroof...

explain the sun roof then what, how, who I love it and hearing its a mod I want to do it now

thats too bad you can't finish her, it was great talking with you on stangnet you gave me some good while I was "down the road" from you in kuwait before I got back in may

It's not that I can't finish it, I just have the three cougars I am working on, and they are more important to me. My 69 finally has fresh paint!! And 3/4 of an engine transmission swap done. The car was an intended flipper from the beginning. I'm just about twice as much into it as I wanted to be. I paid 1200 for it, thought I could get it running for 800-1200, and wanted to sell it for 4K~ish. I'm 4K out of pocket for the stupid thing, and the ONLY offer I've had, was 1500 bucks.

Uh, no, thanks anyway. As for the sunroof, I have no idea who, where, when, or anything like that. Other than the car now is SO much closer to being a driver, I have no knowledge of it. I got it on Craigslist, pretty much as is.

I still spend a lot of time on stangnet, and mercurycougar dot net, mostly out of habit really. They are both fairly active with the older stuff, and my Cougars are 67-70...
