1972 ram air question

Hi, 

I have a factory ram air setup I bought from ebay.

The vacuum hoses are one quarter inch internal diameter

Seems a little big and was apparently being held on by 

Hose clamps, is that really the correct hose size?

1/4" ID is larger than the originals. Do they have a blue stripe along the side of the hoses? You can get the correct full set of hoses from any of the Mustang parts suppliers..
