Yea, I saw that. It would be great to find door and rear panels as a set that were setup with power windows. Maybe a long shot
when I bought mine last year, they had the manual crank hole pre cut. and your very correct in quality end. The holes for the mount pins do not line up to the door holes . Also the handle boot hole circular cast doesn't match the orignal boot( hope I got the right names,).The wood look insert was easier to manipulate using a hot poker to melt the plastic to match the finicky metal tabs.slow and stead is the trick with those or they snap right off.but I guess you will be buying new. I actually ran out of time coming up to the only car show I participated in so I threw my old panel on the drives side and the new on the passenger. no one noticed or if. they did they were kind and remained silent. your really putting in the work. keep it up.

I have a fastback that I tore down and reassembled and never came across any parts that looked like that. Is it a convertible top part maybe in the folding top well area? It looks like spray trim adhesive residue on it to me, and the material looks like it could be the well material? Or it could be a '73 part that I wouldn't have on a "71. Just guessing here from what I see in your pics, maybe a more experienced or a vert guy can say for sure.

As I sit here in So Cal, looking forward to Jan-21 when I’ll get back to Az to start again on the Vert project, I remembered I need a plan to deal with the differences between the two cars. I retitled the build page as I’m almost complete with the Vert underbody effort. Still have the final undercoating, and refurbishment of the metal lines to complete (just need paint). But, I’ve got to construct a plan to swap the coupe parts over to the vert, with the consideration that the vert has underhood parts or systems that the coupe didn’t.

On my coupe, I’ve got an 87 TBird 5.0 drivetrain in there, with those subsystems more traditionally located were they were on that car. So, the major underhood electrical stuff is on the drivers fender apron instead of the passenger. That would be a no brained, but the vert has options the coupe didn’t have. So, my questions are focused there.

In examining the wiring diagram and the Parts Illustration books, it appears the power top and (?) power windows have their own single feed from the starter solenoid? I don’t think there are anymore than those two. I think I’ve located the power top feed; a weird looking wire, that feeds to a relay, that appears to mount to the firewall area. But I’m not sure of the power windows feed. I’m going to reroute those to the drivers side, and since that could add up to two more connections to the stock 87 solenoid, I’m thinking of adding a power strip kinda thing, off the + side of that solenoid.

The first image shows how I had the + power strip originally on the coupe, but I removed it when all of the ultimate connections fit fine on the stock + solenoid. The second photo shows how I left it.

But, I also have that fuse and relay box I can use; it holds 6 and I’m using 2. How might I use that in this swap? I really don’t like that + power strip too much. I’ll use it if I have to, but it looks like a short waiting to happen.

Thanks again for the helpful and sometimes, amusing advice. Steve
