I was wondering what company and part number everyone is using for exhaust image.jpgchrome extension on 1973 Mustang Mach 1. Drake no longer makes factory style and wondering if there is a close replacement

Try NPD or other like CJ, some may still be in stock. Or try a Google search or e bay. They were on Mach 1's from 71 so not peculiar to 73's.

Hmm, you might be right, they did not show on NPD's website.

I used stainless works for my tips, because I wanted a 2 1/2" inlet and a slightly larger outlet than the stock reproductions. They were pricey but I was impressed by the quality, and I liked the idea of stainless rather than chrome plated. They also have a type of resonator pattern on the inside walls. I am not sure how much they are contributing to the overall sound but my car sounds incredible to me .I attached pics that you can kind of see the texture created by the small louvered cuts on the inner walls of the tips.

Thanks for the reply and it looks like Stainless will be getting order
