To follow-up to this I installed my 220kph speedo a little while ago and checked it with the GPS to find it was reading 5kph too slow across the entire range. I checked the gearbox driven gear on the end of the speedo cable and found it to be 19 teeth. Bought an 18 tooth gear off ebay and installed it, and now the speedo is dead on accurate across most of the range and only 1kph out at 100kph and higher. So in my case 1 gear tooth change was equivalent to 5kph indicated speed (or 3.1mph).
