Sorry if I missed it in this epic thread, how much work was involved getting the TKX to fit in the tunnel? I have seen on the earlier mustangs, they want you to drill out spot welds and shift the center floor support back. When I called modern driveline, I got the new guy on the phone who said he thought that was required on the 71-73 cars as well. Does the TKX fit in our tunnels or do we need to do any cutting and welding?
I have also seen they sell a shifter that's offset to one side and is supposed to line up with the shifter hole in our floor without having to cut and grind there.
